The Action Tour Guide app functions as a guide, an audio tour, and a map all in one. This tour has been developed by local guides, curated by creative writers, and narrated by professional voice artists. Most stops along the tour have animated videos allowing you to visualize what you cannot see.

Being your journey from Kahului, cruising along the Hana Highway through Paʻia and past Hoʻokipia. From there, you'll arrive at the official Mile Marker Zero location for the route, and then it's 35 miles to the town of Hana. Discover the Rainbow Eucalyptus and marvel at its multi-colored streaks on its trunks.

Then, visit the Twin Falls, Waikamoi Ridge Trail, and Ching’s pond. Continue your way towards Wailua Falls and the Pipiwai Trail, with its huge bamboo forest. Finally, end the tour at the Kipahulu Visitor Center on the eastern shore of Maui.

The instructions need a bit more explaining to those who aren't so tech savvy. My wife struggled with it. Also, some how you need to get a start location that is actually there. We did not find the Maui center and Google Maps was operating at the same time trying to get us to stops that weren't there. Also, you need to start the story or information sooner to alert people of stops that are coming or could be used. By the time we heard about a stop, we were past it.
