Experience the wonders of Hawaii's Big Island, Kona, with a flight and tour from Oahu. Circumnavigate this beautiful island, explore the forests and volcanoes, and indulge your sweet tooth with a stop at our world famous candy factory.
What to Expect
Hawaii's Big Island is full of beautiful mountains, pristine beaches, and incredible rivers and waterfalls that are best explored with those who know the island best - the locals! Today, you will experience all of this and more with a flight from Oahu to the Big Island that takes you around the entire island in a fun, entertaining day of sightseeing.
Your flight from Oahu arrives on the Big Island, or Kona, where you are then transported on a 260 mile (420km) narrated journey. You will explore the Kealakekua Bay, and visit a coffee plantation where you can sip some of the best coffee in the world. Then you'll head up to Volcano National Park for an adventure to explore the Kilauea Iki crater, and Thurston Lava Tube. Here you feel as if you've stepped back to the beginning of the planet itself as you are greeted with large ferns and steaming bluffs.
Next you'll head up towards Hilo for a stop at the orchid and anthurium nursery before indulging your sweet tooth at the Big Island Candies. You might even want to buy a macadamia nut candy or two for your friends back home, assuming you don't eat them before you arrive!
Finally, you'll be transported back to the airport to return to Oahu in the evening.
