Go on a private hike that combines a workout with rare, picturesque views of Kauaʻi.  Explore Nounou Mountain, aka “Sleeping Giant,” which is located on the East Side of Kaua’i, looming above the winding blue and green waters of the Wailua River.  Join this challenging 2-3 hour experience and learn about the legends surrounding this landmark mountain ridge that resembles a man sleeping on his back. Follow the trails and pass through a striking forest of large cook pine trees and lush vegetation before breaking out into sweeping views as you arrive on "the Giant’s chin," a nearly 1,000-foot climb. Enjoy sweeping views of the cloud-covered Mount Waiʻaleʻale, Wailua Homesteads, and the entire eastern coastline. Choose the Waterfall Option if you would like to reward yourself with a refreshing dip in a cascading waterfall. This option will add approximately 4 hours to the activity, so the tour will stop at one of several local restaurants to buy food before continuing on to this final phase of your adventure. This is a private tour — it will just be you and your private group. Because of this, you are free to go at your own pace and hike as much, or as little, as you would like for the duration of the tour you have selected. Your guide will contact you before the start of your tour to help plan a custom itinerary.

Your seasoned instructors will customize your day to your experience level, guiding you safely to the most serene waters for an SUP tour followed by a hatha yoga flow and meditation session. Soak up the breathtaking setting and learn to embrace the element of water surrounding you while you focus on your balance, core, and serenity.  Feel the ebb and flow of the water underneath you as you start with a leisurely paddle to warm up your muscles. Along the way, you might even encounter turtles, dolphins, and whales in the beautiful waters of Kauai (for ocean lessons). Next, get ready to take your yoga practice offshore and settle into a hatha yoga flow while you skim the surface of the water. Your instructor will guide you through poses that will help you enhance your balance and strengthen your muscles. Sync your movements with each breath and begin to wind down with a meditation session on your board. Finish your experience with a peaceful meditation to calm your mind and expand your consciousness.

3. Island Style Power Vinyasa Yoga on the Beach

Classes are a mix of vinyasa and power yoga set to music. You will flow through creative vinyasa style sun salutations and be offered the opportunity for an (optional) arm balance or two. Expect to get your heart rate up and work your core, then settle into your mat for some restorative stretching and a Savasana under the palms. Classes are open to all levels of experience. The class offers modifications and variations to support individual needs and experience levels. Classes are set in the grass close to the water’s edge with a full view of the ocean. If you have never tried yoga outside of a studio, you may be surprised at how focused and present you feel as you observe the ocean as you practice. Non-slip yoga mats and yoga props are provided when necessary. If you prefer to practice on your own mat, you are welcome to bring it. Restrooms and showers are located close by.
