Departing from Harties Harbour in Kommando Nek Resort, we cruise towards Pecanwood Estate and further down past the Islands towards the bridge. We cross the dam and then continue past Caribbean Estate and then Kosmos all the way close to the dam wall. Our return takes in the zoo and Yacht Club.

Enjoy a scenic 2-hour boat cruise on the placid waters of the Hartbeepoort Dam. With 3 tours departing daily, at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM, pick the time that fits your schedule and hit the water. Located within the Kommando Nek Nature Preserve, gaze at the protected nature that surrounds you, showcasing the abundance of South Africa’s flora and fauna. On this half-day tour, your tour guide will collect you from your accommodations in Johannesburg and take the Lion Park, a natural habitat located not far outside of Johannesburg.  Upon arrival at the Lion Park, you will enjoy 1-hour open vehicle safari drive where you will have the opportunity to view these wonderful animals up close and personal. You will then be driven back to your accommodations in Johannesburg.

Hop into a game truck and ride around the park to observe the animals. Drive by the antelope area to watch these animals walking around. Go to the lion enclosures and see the cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. Hear facts about the animals from your guide. Buy lunch and souvenirs when you finish. Come directly to the safari park to start your tour. Meet your guide and hop into the game truck to explore the different areas of the park. Visit the antelope safari area, and then check out the lion enclosures. Pass by the cheetah and wild dog enclosures too. Listen to commentary from your guide. Take some photos during the drive. Feel free to buy lunch in the restaurant after your safari ride. Have a drink at the bar as well. Also, buy some souvenirs of your safari to take home with you.

After being collected from your hotel or residence in Johannesburg, your guide will give you a quick pre-departure tour briefing before you embark toward the Lesedi Cultural Village, only a few kilometers outside of Johannesburg. Here you will visit five traditional villages including Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele. You will have the opportunity to listen to traditional music being played, and the fascinating stories told by the people of Lesedi. Enjoy a traditional South African tribal get-together, whilst experiencing some traditional dancing. After the traditional dance, you will head to the Nyama Choma restaurant. The site currently occupies 47,000 hectares (180 sq mi)[6] and contains a complex system of limestone caves. The archaeological sites of Swartkrans and Kromdraai are in the same area. Sterkfontein is a South African National Heritage Site and was also declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. The area in which it is situated is known as the Cradle of Humankind. The Sterkfontein Caves are also home to numerous wild African species including Belonogaster petiolata, a wasp species of which there is a large nesting presence.
