You will be picked up from your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria. First stop will be the lion and safari park. From here, you will go on a 1-hour open vehicle safari through the lion and wild dog enclosures. This gives you the best opportunity to view lions up close as well as learn a lot about them.  Next stop is the Lesedi Cultural Village where you will go on a cultural tour through the villages and also experience some cultural dancing. Buffet Lunch included. After the tour you will be transported back to your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria.

After being collected from your hotel or residence in Johannesburg, your guide will give you a quick pre-departure tour briefing before you embark toward the Lesedi Cultural Village, only a few kilometers outside of Johannesburg. Here you will visit five traditional villages including Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele. You will have the opportunity to listen to traditional music being played, and the fascinating stories told by the people of Lesedi. Enjoy a traditional South African tribal get-together, whilst experiencing some traditional dancing. After the traditional dance, you will head to the Nyama Choma restaurant. Nyama Choma stands for "Great African Feast", and that is exactly what you will experience! There is an extensive choice of African dishes, including crocodile and ostrich. The restaurant is divided into three different themed areas consisting of North Africa, East Africa and South Africa. You will have a lot to talk about after a cultural and fun day in Lesedi.

Make a trip to the must-see tourist destination, Lion & Safari Park, situated only 13km from Lanseria Airport and only 40min from Johannesburg. This self-drive option allows you you get up close to the predators and other wildlife. No guide is provided so you can drive with your family and friends in your own time through the lion, wild dog, and cheetah enclosures as well as an extended game drive to view antelope and other species. You can watch the lion feeding at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM on weekends and public holidays.

After morning pickup from your accommodation in Johannesburg or Pretoria, you’ll head out to the Lion Park. Your registered tour guide will take you on a tour through the Lion Park, a natural habitat only 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg. The park is home to more than 85 lions, including the rare white lion, among other carnivores like the cheetah, hyena, and wild dog. Afterwards, you’ll head in to Pretoria for a city tour. The capital of South Africa, Pretoria is home to a bevy of historic sites. Visit the Union Buildings, headquarters of the South African government, and wander through the beautifully terraced gardens. Then it’s off to the Voortrekker Monument, which commemorates the Great Trek, a mass movement of Afrikaner Boers who resented British rule. Next on the itinerary is the Paul Kruger House Museum, which showcases artifacts related to Paul Kruger, the 3rd president of South Africa from 1883-1900. Before the tour ends, you’ll view some of the architectural standouts of the city, like the Ou Raadsaal, Palace of Justice, and Capital Theater. Afterwards, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation, having seen the urban and rural highlights of a vibrant capital city.
