Barbados: Tour of Harrison's Cave & Hunte's Gardens

Harrisons Cave is described by the Barbados Tourism Encyclopedia as one of the Seven Wonders of Barbados. First, see an amazing gallery of stalactites hanging from the roof of the cave, and stalagmites that emerge from the ground that have formed over hundreds of years. You will journey through the cave in a tram car and see beautiful pools, streams, and waterfalls along the way. This is a natural wonder and not to be missed. From there you will journey to the magnificent Hunte’s Botanical Gardens. You will meander along the pathways and find many surprises amongst the lush tropical plants. The rare exotic foliage grows densely in this landscaped gully and hidden amongst them are antiques and other beautiful decorative pieces. You just might spot the occasional bird or animal who love the place as much as you will - it is truly an enchanting experience. Lastly, you will be served refreshments and take in a scenic view of the Barbados landscape.

This was my second time using “GET MY GUIDE”. I enjoyed other excursions in Hawaii 2023. My tour this year 2024 was great. So glad we saw the Harrison’s Cave when we were in Barbados. Our tour guide “Turkey” was amazing, kind, knowledgeable, and polite. He told us all about the many fascinating sights while driving & sung a few Barbados songs. The Hunte’s Garden was beautiful. Great pictures of my family.

Such fun!!! The Rooster made it that much more fun! This was our 2nd tour with The Rooster at the helm. What a wonderful representation of the kindhearted, knowledgeable Bajans we’re so lucky to meet!! The cave is not to be missed & if you’re a gardener, then the Harrison Gardens should not be missed!! Excellent time. Thanks!

We had Rooster for a driver. He was awesome and entertained us by living up to his name and even sang to us. The caves are not to be missed and the gardens were so much more than we expected. Great tour, highly recommend

Loved the combination of the two quite diverse activities. Very well organised and felt we got a lot of fascinating additional info about the island. Caves are incredible and gardens very beautiful and tranquil.

We had a blast with the kids. The park staff are very courteous and helpful.
