This experience was something very special and unique because I had never experienced anything like it before. Tirthraj guided me perfectly through the whole day, starting in Rishikesh at the Beatleas Ashram and walking through the town to Ganga Beach. Then we went on to Haridwar for the Aarti ceremony. It was just incredible and so much fun. All in all, it was an unforgettable day! The long journey from Delhi for one day was definitely worth it, even if I could have stayed longer.

Full description

05:00 AM: Early Morning Departure from Delhi
Start your journey early in the morning from Delhi to Haridwar. It's about a 4-5 hour drive (approximately 220 km).

09:30 AM: Arrive in Haridwar
Upon arrival, visit the famous Har Ki Pauri, the most revered ghat on the banks of the Ganges River.
Take a holy dip in the Ganges and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.
Visit the Mansa Devi Temple, situated on Bilwa Parvat. You can reach the temple by cable car or by trekking.

11:30 AM: Proceed to Rishikesh
Depart for Rishikesh, which is around a 45-minute drive from Haridwar (approximately 20 km).

12:15 PM: Arrive in Rishikesh
Visit the iconic Laxman Jhula, an iron suspension bridge over the Ganges River.
Explore Ram Jhula, another suspension bridge, and the surrounding area, which is dotted with ashrams and temples.
Visit the Beatles Ashram (also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram), where the Beatles stayed in 1968 and composed several songs.

01:30 PM: Lunch
Enjoy a vegetarian lunch at a local restaurant, experiencing the local cuisine.

02:30 PM: Continue Exploring Rishikesh
Visit Triveni Ghat, a sacred bathing spot where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet.
Attend a yoga and meditation session at one of the renowned ashrams like Parmarth Niketan.
Visit the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, located about 12 km from Rishikesh, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

04:30 PM: Experience the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan
Witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan, a spiritual event held at sunset on the banks of the Ganges.

06:00 PM: Depart for Delhi
Start your return journey to Delhi.

10:30 PM: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive back in Delhi, concluding your spiritual and rejuvenating day trip.
