What People Are Saying About Hanoi
We booked this tour after reading good reviews on GYG and were not disappointed. Dragon was our guide and she offered great explanations, and was happy to answer any question as well as helping us with some basic Vietnamese! We visited 8 different places and tried foods. You definitely don't need lunch before taking the tour in the evening. Price includes all food and drink. Highly recommended!
Our guides were a highlight of our stay in Hanoi. They were quite proud of their country and excited to show us around Hanoi and to give us a glimpse of life in Vietnam. Both guides were fun, outgoing, excellent English, and happy to suggest activities and areas to travel. We learned so much from them. Thank you!
Superb.......this is the only words to express and I recommend for the tourist who is visiting Hanoi for taking this tour to experience and to understand more detail about the life of common people in this old town area, of course including to taste and to enjoy their various yummy hawker street foods!
We were very happy with our 3 hour walking tour of old Hanoi. Our guide was a very knowledgable man not just of the street food in the area but also places to see and the architecture of the Old Quarter. He took us to places we'd never try on our own and everything was delicious - fresh and plentiful. At one of the stops we got to actually try our hand at making the food ourselves! We especially loved the spring rolls and the egg coffee was a real treat. Would highly recommend.
Great tour which introduced us to food we would not have tried. Being vegetarian we have not tried the street food till now as we were not sure what was in it. Our guide Kem took us to many places to try all sorts of food and she provided lots of detail on how things are made. A must do in Hanoi.
