Good staff, beautiful tour but not 5 stars

We had a very pleasant tour, a luxurious bus picked us up at our hotel in Hanoi and drove us to Halong Bay. On the tour we had plenty of time to se the wonderful environment, went kayaking and visited some caves. Our guide and the staff made a terrific job; they were all very friendly and helpful. An extra star to the chef who was really engaged teaching a four year old girl how to make spring rolls during the cooking class. Two things could be better: The food was not that flavoursome that we have experienced the rest of our three week trip in Vietnam. It would be better to serve fewer courses and make it really good instead of serving eight average courses in every meal. But the fallen star came with the jacuzzi: if you sell a five star tour and include a bath tub in the cabin you have to offer water. After 30 minutes of tapping I had 12 centimetres of water on the bottom of the tub and then the tap stopped. Really poor.

Poor cruise ship meals, too many room problems, poor hot water supply, distorted windows not closing

The level is low for a five star cruise ship meal. Tai Chi was the best tour event. The kayak wanted to be informed in advance that the distance was too long and he was quite tired. Muscle pain still remains. While the beauty of Halong Bay remained impressive, there were too many penalties, including bad cospa and poor food.
