We loved our trekking trip in Sapa. The transportation from Hanoi was very good and once we arrived in Sapa we were met by our guide, Mamazuzu, who then took us to lunch. She was a brilliant guide who was very helpful on our route, especially in some sections over the rice terraces that were a bit slippy at times. Once we arrived at the homestay, we were able to have a very refreshing shower and put our stuff into our room. Mamazuzu prepared delicious meals for us at dinner and at breakfast the next morning and we were very full 😂 The outer terrace was a lovely place to spend the evening and the morning, and is a great place to socialise. The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable so we had a good night’s sleep. The walk the next morning was more easy-going but we still got some amazing views of the Sapa valley. Overall our experience was amazing and was made amazing by the hospitality and kindness of Mamazuzu and her family.
