Private Tour: Half Day Hanoi City Tour
What to Expect
Enjoy a comprehensive look at Hanoi’s cultural highlights on a half-day private tour, accompanied by your own personal guide. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum — the leader’s former residence in Ba Dinh Square. Visit the iconic Buddhist temple of One Pillar Pagoda and explore the 11th-century Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius and meander through the stunning Old Quarter. This tour includes private pick-up and drop off from your hotel in Hanoi.
The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. You will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the house-on-stilts. Then you will proceed to the One-Pillar pagoda, an historic Buddhist temple in Hanoi, regarded as one of Vietnam's most iconic temples.
Then it's off to the Temple of Literature located to the south of the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long. This was also the first university of Vietnam or imperial academy by the year 1076, where literary composition and classics were taught.
Finally, you'll stroll around the Old Quarter to experience the exciting daily life of the Hanoians. The Old Quarter, near Hoan Kiem Lake, has the original street layout and architecture of old Hanoi. At the beginning of the 20th century, the city consisted of only about 36 streets, most of which are now part of the old quarter.
After the tour ends you will be transported back to your hotel in Hanoi
