What People Are Saying About Hanoi

Very peaceful experience .Great private one day trip.Excellent guide

The private one day trip I made to Mai Chau was very interesting. It is about three hours away from Hanoi by motor car. It is a valley . It is a beautiful place . No doubt about that. An overnight trip would have been more interesting. The bicycle ride around the village was fantastic. The lunch provided was Vietnamese and very good. We passed a misty mountain peak on our way to and back from Mai Chau and the drive was thrilling. The driver was clever enough to drive through.

An Incredible Experience,wonderful services,Great guide

We had a fantastic tour with our English speaking guide, Lena, with indochina travel in Hanoi, as we trekked through the villages of the hill tribes in northern Vietnam. She was very engaged and informative and also had a fantastic rapport with the ethnic groups. We loved the hospitality of the home stay family, Mrs and Mr Long, and the stunning natural beauty of the villages and surrounds. although it was heavy going the first day (approx 20km) the reward was great when we could swim in the waterfall directly at the base of the home stay to cool off! Of our two weeks in Vietnam this was a definite highlight- I cant recommend it enough! Thanks Lena!

Very nice tour with good value for money.

There are a lot of tour companies offering the same itinerary and we really enjoyed our day with Kem. Tam Coc was really beautiful and the temples were the oldest and best preserved we saw in Vietnam. It was well worth the day trip from Hanoi to go out to this area. If you're looking to go an do a boat trip in Tam Coc and see the temples I would highly recommend Charming Vietnam Travel - Local supplier of GYG. Our guide, Kem, made the day special and he really made a big effort for everyone to get the most out of the trip.

Best trip in Vietnam With the best services .Wonderful sapa homestay

Traveled to Sapa and trekked into the mountains with an excellent guide from the Black Hmong Village who spoke fluent English also. Views and continuous information was nothing short of brilliant. The village guides wore thongs but recommend runners and travel with light backpack for overnight. Home stay overnight near the Village was well catered for (beer and other bevs also available) as the guide also prepared all meals for the next day. Could have stayed 2 weeks here. Very peaceful, incredible part of the world. (Must see) Complete North to south Vietnam tour was extremely well organised and credit must go to Peter and David at Laughing Thomas, Tuan and all the support staff along the way from start to finish.Very highly recommended

One of the best sights in Northern Vietnam

I visited Hoa Lu first before Bich Dong Temple and Tam Coc. The temple at Hoa Lu was fascinating, both in views and architecture. The temple grounds was just as lovely with limestone mountains in the distance. It has a lot of history concerning the Dinh and Le dynasties. I then visited Bich Dong Temple after lunch. The place has three temples, each dedicated to the Past, Present and Future and there is a short climb before visiting each one. Tam Coc was like love at first sight. Me and my guide had fun singing old English hits while the sampan was cruising through the river and the caves. Was truly a wonderful experience witnessing Halong on land:)
