The bus ride to Sapa was great, very comfortable way of traveling. Our guide was excellent - she was a local girl with very good English and knowledge about the area. The length of the hike in Sapa should be specified in the tour description. We didn't have any problems with this approx 11 kilometers long track, but other people did. Some needed to get picked up in the middle of the trip simply because it was physically too exhausting for them. Our return bus from Sapa was for some reason changed for 2 hours earlier (no communication about it from the company) and there was no one to pick us up to get back to our hotel in Hanoi. In the tour description it clearly says that the pick up and drop off to hotel are included. The tour organizer did not pick up her phone nor replied in WhatsApp. Luckily the Sapa Sleeping bus guide helped us out and we got a free taxi ride back to our hotel.
Everything you need to know about Hanoi's main landmarks. Guide explained everything about the city and about the Viet culture including a lot of random unrelated wuestion that came from my tour colleagues. The next day even though we wanted to visit any other landmarks by ourselves ..we realised that the tour covered everything important so there were no other objectives left for us to visit which we haven't already seen. The puppet show was a nice finish to the tour and I have considered it some sort of conclusion for all you witnessed and learned during the tour.
This was an excellent street food tour with our guide Jenny. Interesting, friendly and knowledgeable, Jenny made it fun too and was was happy to answer all our questions. We had bun cha, fried and fresh spring rolls, papaya salad, banh mi & egg coffee. We finished off ourselves with a Hanoi beer on the street. All very clean and tasty and felt we were in safe hands. We did our cyclo tour mid way through and it was fun seeing the old quarter buzzing at night.
the tour was excellent, the boat trip was particularly incredible. Nghia was an excellent guide, he spoke English very well and was extremely helpful, responsible and friendly. Some reviews comment on not having much time but that is the nature of a one day trip that is 100km out of a busy city. Definitely worth it if you have day to spare :)
Robert was so friendly and informative, he taught the group a lot of information which was so interesting. Bus journey was long (because of the distance) but comfortable, clean and safe. The whole trip is worth every penny! Beautiful part of the world and I will come again one day with my wife.
