What to Expect
Spend the day exploring Hanoi and visiting several of its noteworthy sites with a local guide.
After pick-up from the Old Quarter, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Then head next door to the One Pillar Pagoda, an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue with a visit to the Taoist Quan Thanh Temple and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake.
Stop for lunch, then continue to the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Tour Vietnam's first university, with gardens well-preserved architecture that offer a glimpse into Vietnam's past. Then visit Bat Trang pottery village.
Later, travel past Hoan Kiem Lake to Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy some free time for shopping and then return to your hotel.
