Full description

Discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay on a cruise and a guided kayaking tour. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on a voyage to the Thien Cung cave. Get closer to the islands on a leisurely kayaking tour.

After you’re picked up at hotels located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, head out on the drive to Ha Long Bay, making a short stop halfway to take a short break or restroom. Continue the scenic drive to Halong, reaching Tuan Chau Island pier around midday and board the traditional cruise.

Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch onboard and take in the tranquil beauty and breathtaking scenery from the deck. Admire tiny limestone islands with rock arches, sheer cliffs, white sand beaches, peaceful coves, and fanciful names, such as Incense Burner and Fighting Cock (the symbol of Ha Long Bay).

Then, head on to Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto). Explore its vast chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds. Finally, enjoy 45 minutes of kayaking or paddling a bamboo boat around the islands and water tunnels at the World Natural Area recognized by UNESCO.

Return to the Tuan Chau pier and board the bus that will take you back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening.

Cruis was nice. Lunch was delicious. Our guid was funny and looked after everyone. For more fun take Kajak instead of a bamboo boat. In January can be rainy, we got some. The view got affected from the weather. On a sunny day is the view amazing I believe. 🙂

This was a fantastic tour, unfortunately the weather was not on our side - but that didn't stop us having a lot of fun and seeing some amazing sights. Robert our tour guide was phenomenal - perfect English, funny and informative - but also knew when not to talk and left us to chat amongst ourselves, or rest on the bus. This tour packs so much into a day and was such good value for money, I recommended it to all the friends I met in Hanoi. Thanks for a great day!

We were picked up from our hotel lobby on time. The journey to Ha Long Bay was in a coach that had reclining seats and air conditioning. We felt the total trip time at Ha Long Bay was sufficient. The lunch offered was in abundance although the hygiene/cleanliness is questionable (if you’re particular about this you should take your own lunch). Drink prices were reasonable (and it’s expected that you will buy drinks with your lunch because you’re not allowed to take plastic bottles off the coach when boarding the boat). Staff on the boat were pleasant. Our tour guide was good however, he did take off his shoes on the return journey home which made the coach smell bad & gave me a headache. We were dropped off at our hotel at the expected time. I recommend this tour to everyone for hassle free viewing of Ha Long Bay.
