What to Expect
Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, and then will head on a scenic short trip to Nam Dinh city. Upon arrival, start discovery Vi Khe bonsai village - the most beautiful bonsai village in Vietnam. Each shape of bonsai trees was inspired by a story or an animal, such as phoenix, horses, dog, a landed dragon, a mother holding her baby, etc.
Continue to visit Co Le pagoda which was built about 1000 years ago under Ly dynasty. This pagoda was rebuilt in 1902 with exterior in Gothic designs. Enjoy cozy lunch at a local family house in Hai Trung, Hai Hau. The landlord is an antique collector. You will have a chance to admire his antiquities collection, some made from some centuries ago.
In the afternoon, cycle around the village and visit Pham Phao cathedral & traditional trumpet making village. On the way you will also see House Bridge, which was built in the 16th century with unique architecture. Explore the daily life of local people. Afterwards, get back to the bus back to Hanoi. Drop-off at your hotel.
