What people are saying about Hammerfest

Excellent!! Mikhhal’s dedication to sharing the history of the Sami people and that of his family is clearly evident. His explanation of his history, culture and present circumstances of the Sami was spellbinding. He has gone to great lengths to prepare his camp and provide a tour that is both welcoming and enlightening. The experience with him has been one of the highlights of our trip to Norway. We wish him and his family the very best. Thank you Mikhhal and Maria.

Had a very good story telling about the history, culture and families of Sami people in Mikkels lovvo = tent warm and cosy. Nice to walk with, to touch and to feed reindeers. A good experience . We recommend it to all staying in Hammerfest. Fritz and Yvonne

I had a great city tour of Ålesund and ended it with a visit to the Art Nouveau Museum - where the tour ends. There is also a journey back in time to the time of the city fire and reconstruction.

Wonderful time by the fire in a Sami-tent, Mikkael is a very nice guy, telling about history and modern life of Sami People
