From the start, our guide Ali made the journey exceptional. Incredibly knowledgeable and deeply rooted in Tunisian life, Ali shared insights and stories that brought each stop to life. His calm and confident driving also made the long distances comfortable and safe. One of the standout moments was visiting a Berber family — a meaningful and memorable cultural encounter. We also loved exploring the oasis village of Tamaghza and spending a magical night under the stars in the Sahara desert, guided by the warm and welcoming Nuri and Saber. A fun tip: during your stay in Tozeur, don’t miss the rooftop café for great views and local charm. And for a smoother experience at tourist stops, ask Ali for a heads-up about souvenir vendors — he knows all the tricks.

I cannot put it down to one factor, the entire experience was amazing, Ali and Muhammed go way above expectations. From the information, to campfire food and songs, this was truly something special and not to be missed! We will definitely be returning and using this company again.

Full description

First a pickup From your hôtel or résidence, then heading to El jem Collisuim (visit), Going to thé south till Matmata where you discover the underground caves. You Will be received by a berber Family. Sée Star Wars site ( Sidi Driss hôtel)
Thé last 100km to reach Douz where you go by a track to Sahara ( 25km deep) to spend an Overnight in dunes ( tente sleeping bags bed camp blankets camp WC are available)
A Private camp made for you !
A night around campfire - dinner - music
Day2 : breakfast in the camp- go to thé Salt Lake - visit the old médina of Tozeur - visit of the Oasis of Chebika- visit of Temegza waterfall
Return black North to thé North (Hammamet ; Sousse or Tunis)

The tour guide and driver were amazing they showed us round the whole of tunisia from mamata to the atlas mountains. Lots of stops for some amazing food and views. Kamel our guide was extremely informative from politics to cake shops….. We slept in the Sahara during a rain storm, not common occurence, with this in mind the camp was not as set up as it could have been and the chef had a task on his hands, under normal circumstances this would have been amazing but for us it was not the highlight. Its a very full few days and we are sure you will enjoy it. Take warm coats for the evening otherwise everything was provided. No showers are available and no toilets during the camp…. Bear poo all the way….
