It was a lovely way to tour around Hamburg, but the food wasn’t great - mostly packaged snacks - but my son was hungry, so he ordered the hot dogs & got food poisoning from them. The guide was ok, but a little too aggressive in making us guess things like monetary amounts, etc rather than just informing us, as he seemed to be doing with others in other languages. Not sure if someone told him that was the way to engage Americans, but we did not particularly enjoy that.

Informative and very fun - you disembark with a laugh

Often you have announcements or something similar on ship tours - not so here. The guide on the boat was really great and found just the right amount of information and related fun. So if you want to experience a typical Hamburg seaman, you should definitely book this tour. Also very friendly staff (e.g. at the bar), so that you could feel completely comfortable. Definitely recommendable !!!

All in all just perfect despite the bad weather!

We were able to see a great deal about the port facility within an hour and were very impressed! Price-performance ratio is okay. It did count on the day, but nobody can do anything about that, otherwise I would definitely recommend it. So if you are in Hamburg you should take advantage of this - even if it costs a bit!
