Explore Hamburg in a playful and extraordinary way with a scavenger hunt through the Port of Hamburg. The Port of Hamburg route leads you to the most well-known sights around the fascinating harbor. The starting point of the scavenger hunt is the Kornhaus bridge with the Fleetschlösschen. Continue to the statue of Störtebeker and through the modern HafenCity with its Marco-Polo-Tower and the Unilever-House. On your way you see the Sandtor port, the Elbphilharmonie and the historic Speicherstadt as well as St. Catherine's Church. Take a break from your scavenger hunt at any time and explore the sights more extensively, enjoy a snack or a drink or just relax. Solve the 16 quests and learn more about the sights on the way. Decide when you want to start your hunt and where you'd like to stay longer. Take as many friends as you like and explore the Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

This is the place where your Scavenger Hunt starts. Bring the Scavenger Hunt box, which you received via mail, with you. There will be no guide at the meeting point. You can start on any date and at any time you wish.

Know before you go

  • You will receive the scavenger hunt box via mail. Please note that the shipping can take up to 4 working days. Shipping is only possible within Germany. Please make sure you provide a shipping address. The scavenger hunt can be experienced after you received the box, regardless of the selected date and time. A pickup of the box in Hamburg is not possible!
  • Please note that the office is open weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to arrange shipping for the game box. It is closed on legal holidays in Germany, and from Christmas until New Years.
  • The city game box will be dispatched 4 weeks prior to your chosen date at the earliest. If you need the box earlier, please choose an earlier date. The scavenger hunt can be played at any time after receiving the box, independent of the chosen date.

Absolutely recommended! If you don't feel like joining other groups and going at your own pace with stops as you wish, you should do this scavenger hunt. It's best not to take your cell phone with you on the tour, otherwise it could tempt you to cheat. We managed it without one and were on the road for 6 hours with 3 stops. We saw and experienced a lot and can recommend it 100% 😊

Julia hat uns Köln heute und früher sehr näher gebracht und durch die VR Brillen konnten wir uns alles super vorstellen. Die Orte und Erzählungen waren sehr interessant auch für unsere Kinder (10, 13, 15 Jahre).
