Wir hatten einen Rundgang durch die Speicherstadt mit Kaffeeverkostung gebucht. Ich hatte mich wieder auf Geschichten aus der Hansezeit, Kaffeehandel und Einblicke in das Gängeviertel gefreut. Es war aber weniger Speicherstadt (obwohl der Besuch im Gewürzladen großartig war), sondern eben auch ganz viel HafenCity dabei. Das war aber auch ganz interessant und der Guide war super. Die Kaffeeverkostung war weniger erfreulich, die Mitarbeiterin hat nur sehr wenig zur Kaffeeherstellung gesagt, zu den Sorten oder zu sich selbst. Wir probierten einige Sorten und konnten dann Kaffee kaufen. Sie war auch sehr ungeduldig und stellenweise unfreundlich und wirkte nicht so, als wäre sie sehr motiviert. Vielleicht hatte sie an dem Tag aber auch einfach zu wenig Kaffee getrunken? Wir waren dann eine Querstraße weiter in einem Café, in dem zufälligerweise auch eine Kaffeeverkostung war und konnten dort der gut gelaunten und freundlichen Mitarbeiterin noch etwas zuhören. Sehr abwechslungsreich, interessant und keinen Moment langweilig. Alle Fragen wurden beantwortet. So sollte Geschichtsunterricht sein. Die Kaffeeverkostung war nicht ganz so toll. Die Dame war aber sehr nett und versuchte auch nicht, einem etwas aufzuschwatzen.

Stefan und Jan waren großartig; informativ, freundlich und sehr lustig. Wir haben sehr viel Interessentes über die Speicherstadt erfahren. Es war kurzweilig und sehr unterhaltsam. Die anschließende Kaffeeverkostung war aber eine herbe Enttäuschung; da wir sehr gerne guten Kaffee trinken, waren wir sehr neugierig und gespannt - aber leider wurden unsere Erwartungen keineswegs erfüllt. Weder der Typ noch die Kostproben konnten uns begeistern. Gelernt haben wir nix - schade um die Zeit; da hätt ma lieber mit Stefan und Jan einen wirklich guten Kaffee in der Kaffeerösterei trinken sollen!
