Full description
Experience Hamburg like a local on a personalized itinerary created just for you. Start your tour by meeting your knowledgeable guide in the city. Then, begin your exploration of the city’s must-see locations and landmarks as well as the neighborhoods rarely mentioned in the travel guides. Depending on your interests, you could visit Hamburg's old warehouse district and see the amazing glass structure of the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. You could journey to the HafenCity district, including the Speicherstadt area, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Encounter a beautiful courtyard at one of the old warehouses. Other top locations to visit include the city center, where you can find the Town Hall which was built way back in 1897. The St. Pauli district, with its “sinful mile” called the Reeperbahn, is also equally unmissable.

Great tour, great value for the money

Heike Zillmer-Schmidtke Is a native Hamburguer who not only knows but whose family has been part of the history of this city particularly during the 20th century and the two world wars. She is intent on you receiving an impression of the real Hamburg not the tourist Hamburg. With her we saw the residential areas of the rich, the middle class and the poor, the financial district, and the center of it all, the port! We learned of the history, of the tribulations brought by the war, and of the unbelievable recovery and rebuilding of this modern and vibrant city. We walked 6 miles, rode in underground and ferrys, and had a wonderful time with this delightful person. When you add her native knowledge of the city with her charming personality you get an extraordinary tour experience.
