Very calm trip in a boat around the Athos. Seen about 10 places from the sea. Being able to buy a drink, coffee and some sweets for my kid. I expected to hear the explanation in Serbian also, but OK.

Our cruise will start from Ouranoupolis, also known as The Gate to Mount Athos, as it is the last settlement before the border between the Monastic State and the rest of the world.

During our journey you will observe 8 of 20 ancient monasteries of Mount Athos and will discover the history of this secluded place, accessed from the sea and allowed to men only, for more than 1000 years.

Keep your camera on, as you might have a chance to take a picture of the dolphins swimming alongside the boat, or even a rare opportunity to see a Mediterranean Monk Seal, one of the rarest marine mammals in the world.

It was a very beautiful cruise, the audio guide was transmitted in different languages and that was great. During the cruise, near Saint Paul monastery a monk came on board with some reliques and everyone had the time to adore and pray. The only negative aspect was that there were a little bit too much passengers and there weren't enough seats to stay outside. Overall was a wonderful experience!
