Take part in a guided sightseeing cruise around Mount Athos Bay in Halkidiki to view the imposing western part of the Holy Mountain Athos in a Glassbottom vessel. After getting the chance to see 6 out of 9 of the local monasteries, take some fantastic photos as your boat passes the gorgeous Drenia islets or Donkey Islands as the locals refer to them.  Explore the majestic island of Ammouliani by stopping there for 1.5 hours where you'll have the opportunity for swimming or to have lunch. 

Delight in a fun cruise aboard a glass-bottom boat from Ouranoupoli's port to the famous beaches of Sithonia and the islands of Vourvourou and Diaparos. Enjoy plenty of opportunities for swimming, and savor a traditional Greek barbecue meal for lunch. Board a glass-bottom boat from the port of Ouranoupoli and set sail. Pass over the most famous reef in the area and admire the yellow corals. Travel to the second peninsula of Halkidiki, Sithonia, and take some photos of the picture-perfect beaches. Passing the Blue Lagoon area we stop at a lagoon with crystalline waters for 1.5 hours. Swim in the bay's turquoise waters at a depth of 2 meters. After swimming, replenish your energy with a barbecue full of traditional Greek flavors, such as souvlaki, Greek salad, tzatziki, and bread. Enjoy a glass of wine and beverages for your children with your meal, but inform the local partner a few days in advance if you require a vegetarian meal. Once you've had your lunch, make your way to Alikes Beach on Ammouliani. Stop for 1.5 hours for more swimming opportunities at the port of the lagoon, or sip a cocktail at one of the various beach bars. The tour concludes with a return to Ouranoupolis in the evening.

The first part of the program begins with a transfer by bus, from your hotel to Ormos Panagias. Our cruise begins from there and sails to Ammouliani island, a beautiful island complex where you can swim, snorkel and then have lunch (incl.) on the beach. Afterwards we sail to the port of Ammouliani Island to where we will have a short stop in the village for a walk, our next stop is at Banana beach at Amouliani Isl. where on our 2 hours stop we will have time for swim, lunch and relaxation. On our way, back to the port of Ormos Panagia, we’ll enjoy a jump for 30 minutes in the crystal waters close to Vourvourou and between Diaporos islands. Our cruise ends at Ormos Panagias. Porto Koufo:(1 hour 30 minutes stop) Continuing our adventure, we'll head to Porto Koufo, a picturesque fishing village nestled within a natural harbor. Surrounded by impressive cliffs, this peaceful bay is one of the largest and safest natural harbors in Greece. Watch local fishermen bring in their catch of the day or indulge in freshly caught seafood at one of the charming waterfront tavernas. Our cruise will start from Ouranoupolis, also known as The Gate to Mount Athos, as it is the last settlement before the border between the Monastic State and the rest of the world. During our journey you will observe 8 of 20 ancient monasteries of Mount Athos and will discover the history of this secluded place, accessed from the sea and allowed to men only, for more than 1000 years. Keep your camera on, as you might have a chance to take a picture of the dolphins swimming alongside the boat, or even a rare opportunity to see a Mediterranean Monk Seal, one of the rarest marine mammals in the world.

Cruise from Ormos Panagias to Ammouliani Island and Lagonisi Blue Lagoon on a full-day boat trip. Stop at the small traditional harbor of Ammouliani, relax on the Banana beach, and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Lagonisi Gulf. Depart from the little harbor of Ormos Panagias and head to the exploration of the most beautiful landscapes of the Siggitikos Bay. As you travel, see the peninsula of Sithonia to your stern and on your right in the background see Mountain Athos. The small island of Ammouliani and the Mount Athos peninsula can be seen to your bow. Stop at the central harbor of the village of the island of Ammouliani. During this stop, explore the local market of the island and the old church of the village which is situated in the square and dates back to 1865 and was constructed by monks from Mount Athos. The island was a monastery dependency of H.M. Vatopedi until 1925, when it was granted to the Greek refugees from Minor Asia. Visit the folklore museum which was built in 1907 and was used by the locals as a school in the early years of the island. The old “arsanas” (dockyard) is really impressive and it was used by the monks as a docking place for the small wooden boats. Then, the vessel departs from the island and heads towards the Banana beach on Ammouliani which is situated after 15 minutes sailing. Relax there for 2 hours using sunbeds and under the shade of umbrellas, there is a beach bar where you can order anything you desire besides the menu you have already bought. The area is also ideal for those who love exploration and hiking since in its Southern part at the top of the mountain which is approximately 90m tall and 200m long of dirt road, there is a spot were you will be surely speechless by the panoramic view of the island, the open sea the Sithonia and the Mount Athos peninsula. After 2 hours of relaxation, food, and exploration the vessel departs for its next destination which is called Lagonisi gulf, situated about 1 hour and 15 minutes far from Banana beach. It is exactly next to the island of Diaporos, in the area of Vourvourou. The bay resembles a lake as in the middle there is an island Lagonisio which creates two natural entrances. The vessel stops at the open sea, in the crystal-clear blue waters of the area, where you will be able to dive from the vessel. Our stop lasts about 30 minutes. Our arrival at Ormos Panagias is due in about 20 minutes, approximately at 17:00.

As you depart from Ormos Panagias to Mount Athos and Ammouliani, the schedule is announced from the speakers and there is an update on board. The route to the first monastery lasts 2.5 to 3 hours during which you can enjoy the cruise looking at both the Sithonia Peninsula and the Mount Athos one embracing the Siggitikos bay. If you have a look at the blue sea, you can spot dolphins which usually accompany you on the trip. At the same time, you will learn about the history of Mount Athos through the guided tour which is head on board from the speakers. The way the trip takes place depends on the weather conditions. If the weather conditions are favorable, then the trip departs from Ormos Panagias heading to H.M. Saint Pavlos which is situated at the foot of Mountain Athos which towers up to 2.033m., in the southern part of Mount Athos. If the weather conditions are not favorable, then the trip begins and the first destination is H.M. Dochiariou. During this route, you will be able to be tour guided and see 4 monasteries: Holy Monastery Docheiariou, H.M. Xenophontos, H.M. Panteleimonos (Russian Monastery), H.M. Xiropotamou, the central port of Mount Athos Daphni. Stop at about 1:30 PM at Banana Beach on Ammouliani Island. Relax there for 2 hours using sunbeds and under the shade of umbrellas. There is a beach bar where you can order anything you desire besides the menu you have already bought. During the trip, a bouzouki player will play and sing for you traditional songs with a Greek aroma. He will be among you so that you will be able to take pictures with him and enjoy his music. Arrival at Ormos Panagias is due at about 5:00 PM.
