What people are saying about Hakone
We had Angela as our tour guidw. She was funny, informative, and she gives clear instructions. We were unfortunate with the weather, and couldn't see Mt. Fuji very well - Angela kept apologizing but its not her fault . In the afternoon the weather cleared up. Love the pirate ship cruise and the Hakone Ropeway. Entire experience was great. Getyourguide responds within a few minutes on the chat which is very helpful and Japan Panoramic Tours are brilliant too Recommend it to anyone!
Wonderful tour, breathtaking views. I’d recommend skipping the lunch (if you care about authentic Japanese food) and eating where the spring water is. Overall, it was fantastic. I’d want to take out the virtual plane ride over Mt Fuji, just because it’s the end of the tour and does not seem necessary. Otherwise, I loved it!
An excellent trip to Fuji and we were blessed with fantastic views. We were collected from our hotel and ferried to the Love statue meeting point. From there we travelled in a luxury coach and were given interesting local information from our guide. Lunch was excellent and the trip on the cable car and pirate ship was great.
It was a very pleasant experience! Our guide. Ami, was very good and she spoke really good English! I must add that the lunch served at the Ninja restaurant was quite disappointing as it was not authentic Japanese food. Apart from that, it was great!
Mt fuji is the most amazing if the weather is good. Cable car ride (ropeway) is nice for people who've never done it. That and a nice lunch. Hakone is not nuts, cruise is 10 minutes on a weird fake pirate themed ferry, nice for kids.
