According to Cham legend, one day a dragon flew to Non Nuoc beach and laid an egg there. After a long time, the egg hatched and a beautiful girl stepped out of the egg. The egg shell was broken into 5 pieces that became the five magical mountains as we see today. In 1825, emperor Minh Mang named this mountain complex Marble Mountains, which means “Ngu Hanh Son” in Vietnamese. Each mountain was named after one of the five elements of Eastern philosophy: metal, water, fire, wood and earth. These names remain unchanged until now, and Marble Mountains have become a natural attraction with many majestic peaks, caves, and temples.

Begin with pickup from your accommodation in Da Nang or Hoi An before setting off to Hue. Make your way along one of the best coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy some specialty regional cuisine. Continue to the main attraction of Hue, the Imperial City. Explore the area and check out the impressive structures. Finally, stop at the Thien Mu Pagoda, the largest in the city Hue. Afterward, return to your accommodation.

Experience the picturesque Hai Van Pass on a unique train ride from Da Nang to Hue. Start with an early morning pickup from accommodations in the city center Da Nang and relax on the comfortable transfer to the Da Nang Train Station. Board the train and begin a journey through diverse landscapes. Pass through the countryside, the iconic Hai Van Pass, and lush mountains. Arrive at Lang Co station in Hue and hop aboard a comfortable bus. Head to the city's prime attraction, the Citadel. In the afternoon, we will head back to Hai Van Pass to explore the beauty of the mountains and sea at twilight. Around 5:00, we will drop you off at your hotel, concluding the program. If you’re going to stay in Hue, we’ll take you to Tam Giang Lagoon - the largest lagoon in Southeast Asia, located in Thừa Thiên-Huế Province, Vietnam. It stretches about 70 kilometers and covers an area of approximately 22,000 hectares. This vast and picturesque lagoon is a significant ecological and cultural site, offering a unique experience for visitors interested in nature, local life, and Vietnamese cuisine. After 30 minutes of riding on the 1A national route, we’ll turn to small paths to enjoy the countryside - it is an enriching experience that offers a deep dive into the traditional lifestyles, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of the region, providing a memorable contrast to the historical landmarks of Hue city. Experience traditional rice farming methods, from plowing with water buffaloes to planting rice seedlings. This hands-on activity gives insight into the hard work involved in producing one of Vietnam's staple foods. Finish the tour, we’ll drop you off at your place in Hue.

Hop onto the bus outside your hotel in Hue. Stop off at Thanh Toan Bridge, and admire the famous glazed tiles. Head to the Hai Van Pass to see the Troung Son Mountains. Then, see the Marble Mountains and arrive at Hoi An Town in the afternoon. Wait at the reception, then get on the bus outside your hotel in Hue between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. First, stop at Thanh Toan Bridge, a historic landmark and tourist attraction that was built over 200 years ago. Admire the tiled roof of this bridge and the wooden pillars. Stop at Lap An Lagoon to take beautiful photos of the peaceful lake surface. After this, drive to the Hai Van Pass in the Troung Son Mountains, known for its steep inclines and hairpin turns. Spend a bit of time here. Standing on Hai Van Pass you can see the beautiful Lang Co beach. Have a snack (Small bread) at Hai Van Pass Following this, continue to the Marble Mountains, also known as Ngu Hanh Son. Appreciate the view of these 5 limestone and marble hills in Da Nang. These mountains are named after the five elements, Kim (gold), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire), and Tho (earth). Get back on the bus. Drop off at Hoi An from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Note: Some roads in Hoi An are blocked one-way, hotels are far from the city center and some roads ban 29-seat vehicles. HAVE PICNIC LUNCH Do Quyen Waterfall - A place to immerse yourself in nature After that we continue trekking ahead to visit Do Quyen Waterfall where has the exact same name with the flower below the waterfall that makes Bach Ma attractive. The waterfall flows down a steep cliff about 300m high. The winding rugged trail challenges trekkers with steep slopes and brook crossings. But on top of it, travelers will find themselves lost to the pure chill air, the bird songs, and the secluded scenery. We have picnic lunch. Travelers can enjoy the whole mighty view of the moutains. Presenter Jeremy Clarkson, host of the BBC motoring program Top Gear, featured the pass during the show’s 2008 Vietnam Special, calling the road “a deserted ribbon of perfection—one of the best coast roads in the world.” _The Marble Mountains: A cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, the Marble Mountains are a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels, and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, Marble Mountains is a beautiful place you should not miss on the trip from Hue to Hoi An. _Golden Bridge (Ba Na Hills): You will take a cable car to the summit of the mountain (at 1487m of sea level).
