Join this guided boat trip along the Spaarne River and see the sights from Haarlem’s oldest open canal. Immerse yourself in the stunning views of Teylers Museum, St. Elisabeth Gasthuis, St. Bavo Church, and many more famous buildings.

Meet your guide and fellow travelers at the pier to begin your tour. Jump aboard, take a seat and enjoy the scenery from the open boat. 

Cruise along the magnificent Spaarne to the Nieuwe Gracht. Admire the Wildemansbrug, Begijnebrug, and Korte Jansbrug bridges.

Glide along the river and listen as your guide tells you about Haarlem’s history as you glide along the river. Make sure you take photos of iconic sights and monuments, such as the former hospital De Egelantier, de Nieuwe Kerk, the new church, and the city theater.

Jerome had great facility in switching between Dutch and English in his introduction to the many city sites he covered. He had many facts at hand and a rich understanding of Dutch history. He took an interest in his guests and was warm and personable. Finally, he had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend his tour to anyone.

Jeroen was amazing. He shared his great knowledge about Haarlem and his history in an entertaining way. Best boat cruise we have ever been made. Tour was supposed to be in English but we were two German couples and so he translated all in German as well. Absolutely fabulous.
