What to Expect
Day 1: Ha Long - Embark
Pick-up will be at your hotel then you drive to the wharf. A warm welcome awaits you aboard this deluxe junk boat cruise. Sit back and take in the spectacular views during your passage into this magical bay. Savor a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch as you head to Bai Tu Long Bay. Visit the Vung Vieng fishing village by local row boat. Kayak around the floating village or have a swim. Observe a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the Sundeck, enjoy the sumptuous set-menu seafood dinner. Later you can watch a movie on the lounge deck or retire to your cabin. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Lan Ha Bay
If you like there is an optional early wake up call to catch the sunrise over the bay and practice Tai Chi on the sundeck while complimentary tea and coffee are served. You will have breakfast before heading to Bhaya Spirit for an excursion to Lan Ha bay. Climb the beautiful Titop Island and visit the famous Pagoda there. Lunch is served onboard the boat, before continuing on to discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha bay bordering the Gulf of Tonkin. Visit its quaint fishing villages and lagoons and if time and tides permit, there will be a chance to kayak through an amazing tunnel under a karst mountain. Return to Bhaya Classic to sail back through the bay to its overnight anchorage near Ho Dong Tien. Enjoy 'Happy Hour' and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the sundeck before a sumptuous set-menu seafood dinner onboard. Later take in a movie or join our staff at the reception for squid fishing. Overnight on board.
