Communication was smooth. We first went to Halong Bay with a group of 11. The ship was good, the crew was very nice and accommodating, the drinks were a bit more expensive, which was to be expected. Our guide was super nice and always kept us updated about the next steps. Sometimes we would have liked a little more free time than information :) We went on a rowing boat tour. The kayak tour took place early the next morning, which is far too cold in winter. It would have been better to offer this on the first afternoon and the boat trip in the morning. In general it would have been much nicer in the summer, but we still had a good time on the ship. When we transferred to Tam Coc we got new guides. We went on a sunset bike ride and stayed in a super nice bungalow. The next day we joined another group. Mua Cave was great. The guides are very, very great and know a lot. To recommend!

It was a great experience! The boat in Halong Bay was small but very personal. Only 3 couples besides us. The boat trip on the small river in Trang An on the third day was particularly impressive. We had a guide just for us. The bus ride back to Hanoi was a bit grueling. There are such and such drivers... Would do it again. All in all very well organized, the agency also repeatedly asked via WhatsApp whether everything was okay.

Guide does not particularly make solo travelers feel comfortable, constantly insists on this point. puts aside solo travelers to fill tables during the buffet... Tam coc: boat too long and without any particular internet, no explanation about the place, the culture etc... huge number of people everywhere (everyone goes around in the same direction 🙈) non-typical meal really made for tourists
