05:30 : Good Morning Cat Ba Bus & Tours guide pick up from hotel in Hanoi old quarter & transfer from Hanoi to Cat Ba island. 07h00 : Arrive in habour then the Speed boat/ Ferry + bus transfer you to our office in Cat Ba , 8h00 - 8h30 check-in Cruise, and enjoy welcome drinks. 08:30 : Boat cruises off Lan Ha bay, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village and thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopstick, seals,..). 10:30 : Kayak through hidden lagoons, tunnels, and archways: K.A cave and Bats cave. 12h00 : Boat drops the anchor at Ong Cam islet for sumptuous traditional Vietnamese lunch. Free time to relax, swim, jump off the boat, lounge on the deck, socials, etc. 13h30 : Afterwards, boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay, passing by Dau Be Island, Vung Vieng fishing village, Le Virgin arch and The Kite arch. 14:30 : Relax, Swim at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy; discoverthe temple beach, more lagoons and arches.15:00: Back to the boat & keep heading to habour. 15h30 : The bus pick up you from Cat Ba to Hanoi 19h00 - 19h30 : Arrival back at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter. The Lan Ha Bay 1 day tour from Hanoi will be finished.

Overall, really good experience. Going from Hanoi to Cat Ba is a not so long way, so you can sleep on the car until you get there. Once the tour starts, the time flies. The guide, Ryan was super active, trying to get everyone involved in the activity.

Amazing experience with an amazing guide available to explain us everything and who paid attention to each detail (e.g. I wanted to stay in Cat ba instead of going back to Hanoi and he managed to get a taxi for me and other travelers that wanted to do the same)

Overall experience was good. Tour and Transportation were both subcontracted to other companies though, which was a bit confusing. We were picked up by one company’s bus, switched buses mid-trip at a roadside rest stop, did the boat tour with another company and were then left at the boat dock to wait for a different bus to take us back. Not overly inconvenient, but maybe a bit misleading, based on the tour description.
