Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma pi Leng pass – Meo Vac – Du Gia village (100km) Start the day with breakfast at a local restaurant 8:00 am, and if it’s the weekend, we visit the Dong Van Sunday market. We then continue our tour and ride through the Sky pass, the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass, doing boat riding in Nho Que River and Hmong villages with picturesque views. Take a lunch break in Mau Due village before heading to Du Gia village, where we ride through Sa Li Pass, Lung Ho Viewpoint, and visit the beautiful Du Gia waterfall. Check in at a homestay of the Tay ethnic in Du Gia village, where we have a family-style dinner. Day 3: Du Gia village – Duong Thuong – Luong Tam – Nam Dam (40km) Begin the day with breakfast at the homestay, where we enjoy the stunning mountain views. We visit the Du Gia market (on Saturday), Duong Thuong viewpoint, and Lung Tam Village, known for its unique hemp weaving. Drive down to reach the river and paddle along the turquoise waters. Then, continue to drive through the rustic villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due, and Lung Ho, where lunch is served. The whole Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam. You will see unending rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and breath-taking views. You can observe the lives of hill-tribe villages where local people work on the land. A few kilometers before reaching Dong Van Town, we will stop in Hmong King’s Palace, a home for Voung’s family in Sa Phin. We will arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon, just in time to enjoy a good dinner. In the evening, you can explore the town and relax before the next eventful day. Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac Town – Du Gia (B,L,D) After a delicious breakfast we leave Dong Van Town to enter, arguably, the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. The legendary pass is well known for craggy cliffs and breath-taking views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the "king" of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road is winding through the cliffs and overcomes Ma Pi Leng pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters. To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will trek the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river. From the amazing mountain viewpoint you will be able to experience a 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures. Standing on the peak of the pass, you will feel overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers. Every day of your journey you will be able to observe a daily life of hill-tribe villages. We will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. Day 2: The journey on the second day is relatively short because we want you to enjoy the most majestic route of the whole journey - the Ma Pi Leng scenic spot. You may even gain a new perspective from this lookout. Looking at the road of Happiness, winding along the rocky slopes, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how well-built the roads are.In the evening, we’ll return to Mong village, sit by the fire, chat, bake potatoes and cassava, and enjoy the peaceful life here. Day 3: Many wonder what Du Gia village offers. The road from Meo Vac to Du Gia is so beautiful and untouched that many places remain unnamed. We’ll travel through the most breathtaking, remote areas. We recommend visiting Du Gia to everyone because it offers a peaceful respite from busy schedules and lives. We hope that being immersed in the rocky mountain landscape will help you forget about normal day-to-day stresses, at least for a few moments. Staying in the Tay people’s village provides a tranquil experience. Here there is no traffic, only the sound of birds singing. Spend your days observing the local white-bellied stream flock sparkling under the warm sunlight and leisurely swimming through the water. Day 4: On your final day, the tour will end at 4 pm.
