The train journey took us back in time. Loved the commentary throughout the journey. I have kept the old-style train tickets as a memory (my daughter was very excited to get the tickets punched by the ticket checker). Our compartment volunteer, Brad, was very friendly; loved chatting with him.

The Mary Valley Rattler is a must for those wanting to see a beautiful part of our countryside. The train was a fun ride and we were lucky that there was plenty of space with the seating for everyone.

Lovely trip. Train is beautifully restored and just a wonderful experience celebrating a little bit of Australian history.
