Hop aboard a private chartered yacht to go cruise around Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Whether swimming, soaking in the sun, or bar-hopping, tell the captain what sounds like fun and find the right spot. Take advantage of the good weather and enjoy the sight of bright sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

For a swim, head to the islands just inside Perdido Pass. Robinson Island, Walker Island, Gilchrist Island, and Bird Island are popular spots to cool off in the water or relax. Catch some rays once back on the boat. 

After working up some hunger, stop in at one of the local restaurants. Many of them are accessible by boat. The Flora-Bama Yacht Club and Bear Point Marina are known for good views and seafood. Tacky Jack’s Restaurant and Bar and Pirate’s Cove Bar and Grill cater more to those with a laidback attitude. 

Let that meal settle while cruising along the Alabama coastline. Beaches with pale sand line the gulf and the open waters offer another chance to swim or play in the water before heading back to the dock.
