Alex was a fantastic guide. He promptly picked us up at the designated time and location. We chose the tour as it was more intimate (only 6 people total). Immediately after pick up, the tour began with facts about Porto. Throughout the drive, he gave us history and information on Portugal. When we arrived at Braga, we had some time to explore the Bom Jesus do Monte and the surrounding grounds. He then drove to Braga city center where he dropped us off a local cafe to get some coffee and sweet treats. He then proceeded to a guided tour of the Braga Cathedral. After the tour, he drove us to our next destination, Guimarães where we had lunch at a local restaurant. After asking us first if we had any dietary restrictions, he took the liberty of ordering us local dishes and desserts. It was very much appreciated. Then we had the tour of the castle and the surrounding historical landmarks. Afterwards. He gave us some time to explore on our own before picking us up to drop us back off.

It was a great day trip. Our guide Anabela was a great guide who gave us lots of interesting information about places we visited and our driver Mota was excellent Anabela's partner in taking us around safely and on time.
