Very nice tour! The pickup was from our hostel, the guide Nicky was very nice, dynamic and took good care of us. The long hair women village is very touristy but the show was short and with music so it was ok. The food was good and varied. And finally the rice terraces were beautiful! We walked up and took the cable car to go down because we were afraid not to have enough time on the top. But actually if you don’t have any problem walking, it is ok to go and come back by walk only, there is enough time (50mn-1h to go up).
We highly recommend this guided tour of the Li River from Guilin.
Our guide Mrs Lee was very helpful and informative. She did her best to make sure we had the most positive experience of the Li river highlights. Her tips and advice for shopping and viewing the karst formations were excellent. She had great English skills. We will treasure our memories of this special day.
