Eddie (guide) and Alejandro (driver) were fantastic. Eddie is the real deal when it comes to professional guides with credentials, many years of experience, extensive knowledge of history and wildlife, and knowing where to get the best bread you’ve ever had in your life (small, family owned business with 100 year old stone oven!). We were very happy to have had a nice weather day and be able to see many species of birds as well as a pod of dolphins! It was incredible. The boat driver was very proactive about finding the dolphins, putting out calls to other boat drivers in the area to share info. On our way back, Eddie shared some very interesting information about mangrove trees complete with with visual aids and ‘audience’ participation. We had a great time and were incredibly pleased with our experience. Would highly recommend to anyone hoping to learn about Ecuadorian history, flora and fauna, and enjoy the outdoors!
