Loved the tour! For a moment there we got worried that we made the wrong choice: there were two tours in the same bus. Some people, who chose the other tour, went straight to Puritama and we got loaded off earlier. We hiked for about 20 minutes through the rocks and desert to the river where we occupied some of the best places on the river. It was amazing! I was thinking that maybe it would have been better to be a part of the other group, but when we picked them up, we realised that they would have to pay 35000 CLP entrance to the Puritama whereas we avoided that charge and went to the free part of the river, a bit more downstream (I think?). So, we def made the right decision. We also got a little picnic on the way back, and the drinks on it were the best I had in that part of Chile. We had freshly made pisco sours with Rica Rica I side the bottle and an amazing borgoña. Came back on time and even got dropped off close to our hotel. Recommend!
For the price of the tour, we were dissatisfied with one detail, the transport was terrible note 2, Lourdes agency, old van and without air conditioning, we were eating dust the whole way there and back… the place is wonderful, but we expected the minimum of comfort on the way mainly due to the high price paid.
It was great and we have a lot of fun. The driver/tour guide told us a lot about the history as we drove toward the Piritama parks. We had an energizing time at the hot springs! Highly recommend
The guide was charming, made us feel very good, concerned and made the group settle down! Beautiful experience
