Overall rating
I really enjoyed this class. The level of hands-on for the class ranges from light to all-in. While many of those in the class opted for the light approach to the class with a glass of wine in-hand, I opted to be involved and hands-on through the duration of the class in order to learn new techniques and understand the origin of true Guatemalan flavors. It was a great experience that I would recommend to all.
Loyd was a wonderful guide! He speaks English very well and did a great job with the bilingual tour of presenting the information consistently in both languages. He guided us to the top of the temple with plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise and afterwards did a wonderful tour of the ruins.
Most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. If I had to do it over again I would. The guides were super friendly and patient. Food was delicious. The best hot chocolate I’ve had while looking at the sun rise. 10/10 experience!
A lot of driving but Tikal was fantastic. Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgable and informativel. Lunch was also delicious.
Fantastic trip! Guides were amazing! Don’t hesitate to book!
