took this tour because i was too lazy to get to central vieja bus station and take the public bus to chapala and ajijic for a few dollars. this tour gave a quick look at both towns. enjoyed the ride, but wished there was more time at the actual towns. had to rush ajijic just to get back on the bus to go to a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. better if people got their own lunch in town. guide carmen was great. bus sat in front of a famous mariachi singer's ranch for 20 minutes. could not figure out the point of that. anyways, glad i did the trip , carmen, was great.
I've been to few tours during my trip in Mexico and this experience was definitely the warmest. Areas were not most mesmerising, but I had a good time and that's most important. Javier is a cute and friendly guy, tequila included definitely a big plus too, restaurant where he takes you for lunch is not a tourist trap, food was actually tasty plus a nice view. Thank you :)
I had a great time. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel. The driver, Alex, was.super careful. The first time I felt safe on the road since I came to guadalajara. Alex spoke English well.
Hector is a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We have enough free time to explore the lake and the towns. Highly recommend it!
The trip was great to visit VFG ranch, taste tequila, and visit the towns on Lake Chapala. Javier was wonderful!
