Full description
Start your small group day trip driving to the south of Florence, through the Tuscan countryside. Reach the first winery to learn about all the winemaking process. Visit the farm, and satisfy all of your curiosity. Now your curiosity is satisfied, try a wine! Next, move on to another selected hilltop wine estate, where a wine expert is waiting for you to share the facts and anecdotes behind this product. Start an informative guided tour of the farm and learn all of the secrets to make a genuine wine. Sit down for lunch accompanied by the winery's own excellent wines and Vin Santo (dessert wine). Nothing is rushed, so take the time to relax and enjoy. After lunch, head to Greve in Chianti, the most representative village of the Chianti Classico countryside, birthplace of the famous Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, who discovered the New York Harbor. Take some free time to admire the attractive main square. To complete this experience, continue to the third winery, and taste their products, before you head back to Florence.

Our guide/driver Alex was perfect! He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. At our request he even dropped us off at the Piazzale Michelangelo at the end of the day. The 3 wineries were all very different and beautiful. We sampled loads of great wines/Olive oil and the lunch was delicious. Great tour!

3 very different vineyards. Enthusiastic presenters who wanted to share knowledge. No pressure to buy wine, but the ones I did buy were quite delicious. Bus driver was friendly, informative, and fun. Our fellow participants were all friendly. The small town we visited was beautiful and I was able to buy wild boar sausages at the butchers. Well worth the money. Just fabulous.

Alessandro (sp?) was so professional, warm and fun! He was very informative and clearly loves Florence and sharing his hometown with new people. His English and driving are excellent. He took us to 3 very good wineries and a great little town. The lunch provided at the second winery was so great, we all loved it. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
