Full description

Journey through the wine-producing region of Tuscany on a guided day trip from Florence. Visit three organic wineries and enjoy lunch with a tasting of local wines, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Take a walk in the medieval town of Greve in Chianti.

Start your day trip driving through the Tuscan countryside. Reach the first winery to learn about the winemaking process. Visit the farm, the cellar and learn all of the secrets to making wine.

Next, move on to another selected hilltop wine estate, where a wine expert is waiting for you to share facts and anecdotes about the process. Sit down for a light lunch accompanied by the winery's own wines and products.

After lunch, head to Greve in Chianti, for a quick stop in the most representative village of the Chianti Classico countryside. Take some free time to admire the main square before continuing to the final stop, a historical family-owned villa and winery.

Admire the views of Florence and one of the most beautiful Italian gardens in the area. Taste the winery’s local products, made with the deepest respect for the cultivation traditions of the region. Compare the products and the philosophies of these three different local winemakers.

Look for a red flag or a sign with a 'Prestige Rent' logo on it to check-in. If you use Google Maps to reach the meeting point, do not follow the route passing through the train station. Very good, but I would suggest a small change in that we were served bread, olive oil and meats at every stop. It got to where I would have loved a cracker, or a celery stick! Also, suggest two stops on the way back - one closer to the Ponte Vecchio or somewhere closer to Duomo. Many of us would have liked to be let off the bus and she would not allow it. Poor end to a very nice day!

This trip was incredible. Our guide, Leo, was knowledgeable and funny and the perfect host for our day. Each winery was unique and the wine was amazing. We ordered some from each place to ship home to the US! The scenery was absolutely gorgeous - exactly what you think of when you think of Tuscany, and more! Book this trip, it is amazing!

Anyone looking for a wine tour should 100% choose this one! We sampled 10 different wines throughout the day and also 3 different olive oils and 1 balsamic vinegar. The views are spectacular and the guide, Leo, blew everything out of the water! He was knowledgeable about basically everything Italian and he was FUNNY! Although the price may seem high, you pay for the experience! We will forever remember this tour and may even do it again when we return to Italy!
