Overall rating
Visited this museum before the 9/11 museum and memorial. It taught me so much that I didn't know about 9/11 and done in a very respectful way. There were lots of artefacts recovered from the site with accompanying audio guides - I think there must be about 100 audios. It was so interesting, I listened to every single audio and took me around 2 hours. It was upsetting to listen to at times but also very moving and I felt it helped you understand the horror of what happened. The guide was also very helpful and friendly.
An exceptionally beautiful and worth seeing exhibition, also due to the architecture and location of the building!
Beautiful experience, the stories make you immerse yourself in what the photographer experienced at that moment.
Whitney offers a reduced rate for 65+. This means I’d have paid less, if I had bought the ticket at their booth
Unfortunately at the moment Bienale , therefore only one level for permanent exhibition, this is very good
