White Villages and Ronda: Day trip from Seville.

Heading southeast from Seville to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in the province of Cadiz, where one of the most rainy spots of the entire Iberian Peninsula is located. This area, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, preserves among its mountains some of the most beautiful forests in Europe, the pinsapar. The Spanish fir (Abies pinsapo) is a species of fir tree that survived the last glaciations, which takes refuge in the coolest and most humid shady areas of this mountain range, still preserving some forests such as the Sierra del Pinar, in the municipality of Grazalema. Our first destination will be Zahara de la Sierra, where we will make a brief stop to walk through its streets, admire the landscapes of the Sierra from its viewpoint, and take, if we wish, a snack before continuing our route. From here we head towards Setenil de las Bodegas, the impregnable village, as it says the events of history; in this beautiful place we can admire its houses carved into the rock, enjoy its wines and taste the rich gastronomy of Setenil. The end of this route is the majestic Ronda, of Celtic origin, also considered one of the oldest cities in the West. In Ronda we will walk through the most emblematic places: the Alameda del Tajo, the Plaza de Toros Tajo, the Plaza de Toros and the New Bridge, which separates and divides the city into two parts. We will also have free time to continue visiting, if we wish, some of its monuments, its shopping area, and choose the most suitable place to enjoy a nice lunch in the many bars and restaurants that it offers.
