Grasse: Perfume Workshop

Really enjoyed this activity. It was a small group of 5, we were able to smell 3 base scents and 6 notes scents. Once we had decided on the base scent and notes scent, we got to put the perfume into the bottle. I did this activity by myself and 20 minutes was plenty of time. The guide was very nice, she explained in French and then English for me. She was very helpful and made sure I was okay

This was a such a fun activity! It only took about 20 minutes but it was a really unique experience being able to make my own perfume, which came in a pretty Molinard glass bottle. Our guide was great and explained each fragrance choice and how to mix them. Definitely worth it!

We loved this perfume making workshop! Since it was a quiet day/not during busy season, the two of us were the only ones booked in for the specific time slot and it turned into a private class. Our perfumer was friendly, knowledgable about all the scent options, and informative during the whole process regarding Grasse, perfumery, and various questions we had since my husband and I love perfume. Our highlight was creating our personalized perfumes in the lab itself - so cool! We were worried we would create scents that we didn't love but she assured us that if we went with our gut/the scents we enjoyed the most rather than trying to create a scent we think will smell the best, it would turn out great (and it did!). My base was citrus (50%). Additional notes were gourmande (30%), ambre (15%), and marine (5%). The shop itself is beautiful and there were so many lovely perfumes, we left with a signature bottle.
