Head to Grand Canyon Airport at Tusayan, Arizona for a fantastic 45-minute helicopter flight over the magnificent beauty of the Grand Canyon. Departing from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, you will soar above the Kaibab National Forest for some amazing views of the Marble Canyon and Point Imperial.
Watch in awe as the South Rim gradually drops away, providing one of the most memorable views of the entire canyon. As you climb above the North Rim, experience fabulous bird's-eye views before heading south through the Dragon Corridor, the widest and deepest part of the canyon.
In the distance, you will see the Painted Desert and the Desert View Watchtower, designed by the Hopi Indians. Your journey then follows the Colorado River upstream to where it merges with the Little Colorado River, back over the Kaibab National Forest, and on to Tusayan.

Amazing awe inspiring incredible breath taking bucket list experience.
From ease to find location, friendly staff, great pilot (Luke), fantastic quiet helicopter, scenery, duration, value for money, great gift shop, video of experience, photo with pilot, this was an awesome experience. the only way to truly appreciate the enormity of the Grand Canyon. Have a fear of heights, but this was not a factor for this type of experience. Highly, very highly, recommend this experience.

The 45 minute Grand Canyon Spirit Helicopter Tour was amazing!
The Maverick helicopters and their pilots/staff were first class. When we first dropped over the rim of the Grand Canyon, it was a real rush, with the ground changing instantly from about 100 feet below us to 5,000 feet! From there on we had wonderful close up views of the canyon highlights.

The flight was brought forward by 40 minutes without prior notice, luckily we were more than timely at the check-in and were just able to go to the toilet. It is clear to us that the places in the helicopter are allocated by weight. But it was more than unfortunate that three small children got the best seats while my husband, who was 2 meters tall, had to squeeze in the middle of the back bench. We would also have liked that the flight was designed in such a way that one could get the same view from both sides of the helicopter, for example on the Colorado River. This would be more than desirable, especially due to the lighting conditions (reflection in the pane).
