We really enjoyed our day and trip to islands. The crew was very welcoming and helpful. The experience was great- blue waters, some riffs, beauty of islands. Note to others- it is better to bring your own equipment. For the team - few additional words about the islands themselves (nature preservance, history) would give a bit additional bonus to the storytelling.

Full description

Explore Mauritius' 3 Northern Isles in just one day on this full-day catamaran cruise. Marvel at Mauritius' very own island getaways, government-declared nature reserves featuring pristine white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and beautiful coral gardens.

Enjoy tea, coffee, and cake upon arrival at the catamaran Wind Dancer, then depart from Grand Baie Public Beach after the captain's briefing.


Cruise easily for approximately 1 hour on the way to the magical Flat Island. Visit the island before returning to the catamaran for a sumptuous BBQ lunch and drinks.

After lunch, explore the beauty of Gabriel Island. Snorkel in the lovely lagoon, or simply laze in the sun on the beautiful sandbar that Gabriel Island is best known for.

On the return journey to Grand Bay, make a stop at the natural aquarium of Coin de Mire and swim and snorkel among a multitude of colorful reef fish. The catamaran arrives back in the bay in the afternoon. Both shared and private options are available for this tour.

Meeting point

Meet your skipper on Grand Baie Public Beach. Look for an orange and white catamaran called Wind Dancer. Wait by the swimming area for Wind Dancer to arrive (approx 7h40am) the Captain will come on to the beach to collect you in a small blue dinghy.

It was really great, the captain and also the crew were really friendly, they made delicious lunch and whole trip was just great. First, you’ll stop for snorkling, later you’re going to visit beautiful white beaches. Don’t hesitate to go further from main beach, it’s less people and you can enjoy “private” beach just for you. Possibility of sea desease if it’s windy and big waves, but luckily did not happen to us.
