Pablo was a really great guide and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We took the early morning kayak tour and it was gorgeous seeing the sun rise on the water. We saw so many animals and we were the first ones in the lake. Definitely worth the early wake up call and I recommend doing this early morning kayak tour because you can get up close to the wildlife without the animals getting scared from too many people and the sounds of too many boats. We even managed to see a family of wild Howler monkeys and their babies. Definitely an amazing experience and thank you so much Pablo for being a fabulous guide and bringing that watermelon to have as breakfast on the kayaks!

We had a very small group and the guide, Pablo, was amazing. He taught us everything there is to know about the islands, wildlife and history. it is worth is to get up and out on the water early. The sun is not to hot yet and you have the island just to yourself, without any other tourists. A must do in Granada

Kayak across Central America's largest lake, Lake Nicaragua – the home to 365 small islets, inhabited by local people, monkeys, and a colorful array of bird life. Discover the different character of each islet, including a wealthy residential area and an 18th-century, colonial fortress, from which you'll enjoy superb views over the lake, Granada, and Mombacho Volcano.

The kayak station is a mere 15 minutes from the city center, with complimentary transportation provided from your hotel. Single and double kayaks are both available, with life jackets included for a safe lake excursion into the areas even motorboats can't reach, passing jungles, savannas, and spectacular wildlife.
