What people are saying about Granada, Spain

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! From the start everything was great. The tour coordinator messaged us with details and we also received a call from the guide a few days before. He assessed our group's capabilities and to decide which spot in the canyon to hike--it was exactly perfect for us! We had an amazing trip--jumps, natural slides, natural pools, and hiking down the river in general. The scenery was gorgeous and the guide was fabulous. Goyo, the guide, was very knowledgeable and professional, we never had a worry. ONCE YOU GO, YOU WILL BE HOOKED AND WANT TO GO AGAIN AND AGAIN! TIPS: Use hiking boots! Wear a thin, long sleeve sun-protection shirt and bottom (or lycra-like biking/yoga short). You wear a wetsuit the entire trip down and then you walk back up a side trail in the sun. Or bring sunscreen if you use it. Bring a change of dry clothes, hand towel, and flip-flops to change into later.

The best provider for the Rio Verde Canyoning tour by far - you must book with Dim Trap! It felt very personal. Harry was great with communication before the trip, collected us from a convenient point near to our accommodation in Granada so we didn’t need to get a taxi to the meet point. We were provided with all equipment apart from trainers. Once we were there, they didn’t rush us through the tour at all. We swam through the pools and jumped off the cliffs a few times. Harry was so knowledgable and helpful through the tour too and there was a 2nd guide to record our experience. Snacks were provided halfway through and lunch at the end was perfect. He explained all instructions throughout to us in English as well. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much Harry and Jakob for an amazing experience.

we had two very fun, helpful tour guides (Jorge and Irena) and the canyon was beautiful! Such a unique experience that we’ve never done and never seen offered anywhere else. Would highly recommend to anyone! I will say, the bus does not have AC and water was not provided. Not a deal breaker but I definitely think that should not be mislabeled in the description. Also, the tour was listed has 4 hours but didn’t include the ~3 hr drive from Granada in that timeline— I would definitely make sure that is listed so people have a better understanding of expectations! Again, would recommend to anyone (who is fit enough) and we loved it so much! Also, so great that the tour includes digital pictures from the day — love it!

This was the highlight of our trip in Andalusia. Full day adventure and yes, it was adventurous. Our guides were very caring and personable. Our group was all female and it was a power group…we connected like kindred spirits and it made for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Rio Verde and gorge is absolutely stunning. We picnicked afterwards and that was a sweet reward to an action-packed trip. This activity is a must-do if you’re looking for a unique way to spend your time in Andalusia. Much love to Harry and Jacob for making it a truly special experience.

It was a fantastic trip, with lots of fun and an adventure feeling. Super punctual pickup from Jorge and very professional escort through the Río Verde. The nature is beautiful and the tour is definitely worth it! Thank you again for the great experience. Lisa&Chris
