The small group was awesome and the stops were breathtaking. He kept the day fun despite a total power outage across Spain, Portugal and parts of France. The villages are breathtaking, to walk through them is amazing. Worth the time and money!

Explore the region of Alpujarra on a day trip from Granada. Learn about the history of the region of Andalucia with your local guide and admire the views of fantastic landscapes.
Begin by heading towards Lanjarón, making the first stop at the historic Nasrid bridge of Tablate. Learn about the relationship of the Moriscos with the Alpujarra. Visit the Nasrid castle and enjoy the views of the surrounding region.
Head to a viewpoint and admire the vistas of the Poqueira Valley, Guadalfeo Valley, and Sierra Nevada. Discover the Fuente Agria Spring and the Chorrerón in Pórtugos, a source of water rich in minerals.
Walk down to the Chorrerón and enjoy some impressive natural waterfalls. Continue to charming town of Capilerilla, a hidden gem away from the tourist crowds with beautiful architecture and quaint streets.

Arrive at Pampaneira, within the network of the most beautiful villages in Spain and one of the most representative of the Alpujarra region. Here you will have free time to have a coffee before returning to Granada.

Our trip to the Alpujarra villages was outstanding! Our guide, Gonzalo, was very knowledgeable, kind and professional. Gonzalo is also an excellent driver and navigated the winding roads with great skill, He is proficient in English and was able to move easily between Spanish and English so everyone in our group could learn and ask questions. Gonzalo taught us a lot about the history and unique architecture of the region. The villages are wonderful and the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains is truly stunning. The Alpujarra is tranquil and peaceful and provided respite from the fast pace of city life. We ate lunch at an incredible restaurant in Pampeira and honestly, it was one of the best meals I have ever had in Spain! We made new friends from Spain and Germany on our trip. There is time to be on one’s own as well as with the group. Highly recommend this tour!!
