Great experience! Road the train the entire trip first go round then got off and on at desired points. It needs to be a better system for those getting back on versus those who are getting tickets. Was trying to get back on but there was a long line of customers paying to get on. Showed driver receipt but was told to get in line. It was so many people in line I was worried if there would be room by the time he got to me.

Easy, convenient, great way to get a feel for the city prior to tourin

We bought the ticket one day early online. It was easy and cheap ($12 Euro for one day, two people (one senior). When we arrived in Granada we easiliy found the nearest stop of the train. The first one was full, so we waited for the next (maybe 5 minutes) and that one had plenty of room. We first toured the whole route then got off at Alhambra. For the rest of the day we got on and off shopping or touring and then getting back on. We never waited more than 10 minutes and every train had plenty of space after that first one. Yes it's bumpy - yes it's noisy - if you want an airconditioned rubber ride then get an expensive tour. It was very convenient, the map was excellent and the drivers were polite and patient. As always, a little Spanish is very helpful.

Fun way to see the main points of Granada but the train didn't head all the way down into the city center towards the river, which we had to see later on foot. I recommend walking down Calle Acera del Dario, then through Plaza Bibataubin (Calle de la Virgen) which leads you to Plaza del Humiladero. We didn't listen to the audio tour because they charge you an additional 1 euro to buy the earphones.
